Fighting Cancer is as Easy as Riding a Bike.....
Join the 7th annual Ultimate Cycle Challenge! We are proud to say that the UCC has continued to grow in participation and fundraising each year. In 2011, we had 50 teams, 525 riders and we were the 2011 Top LIVESTRONG Grassroots Fundraiser raising over $61,000!
The UCC is a non-competitive indoor cycling fundraiser in which teams of participants keep stationary bikes in constant motion for 24 hours while enjoying live entertainment, health information and cancer awareness. This event gives us a chance to remember those we have lost, celebrate those who have survived and support those who are currently fighting cancer.
Anyone who can sit on or pedal a stationary bike can participate and make a difference. Teams can consist of a single member riding non-stop or many members taking turns as a relay team.
Fundraising is not mandatory but is strongly encouraged. All donations go directly to LIVESTRONG to support cancer awareness, education, advocacy, research and patient support.
The challenge isn't riding the bike....
it's taking up the fight against this disease that impacts so many friends and family.
Our Mission
Along with LIVESTRONG, we believe that in the battle with cancer, unity is strength, knowledge is power, and attitude is everything. Funds raised through Ultimate Cycle Challenge will be donated to LIVESTRONG to aid in the progress against cancer and to empower people with cancer to never give up hope.
This event is hosted by a LIVESTRONG grassroots fundraiser to raise funds for LIVESTRONG. This is not an official LIVESTRONG-hosted event, but all proceeds will benefit LIVESTRONG.
